MISSION: Eliminating sexual assault and sexual harassment by ensuring excellence in victim advocacy and prevention efforts

The Sexual Assault Prevention & Response (SAPR) office provides advocacy and support to victims and survivors of sexual assault and harassment. To extend care, expand support resources and provide services throughout the U.S. Department of the Air Force, the installation SAPR office ensures confidential access to SAPR personnel offering advocacy and Restricted and Unrestricted Reporting options to service members who experience incidents of sexual harassment.

Definitions

Sexual Assault

Sexual assault is a crime. It is defined as intentional sexual contact, characterized by use of force, physical threat or abuse of authority or when the victim does not or cannot consent.

The Continuum of Harm

Describes behaviors if tolerated could lead to sexual assault and harassment.
