911th CES welcomes new commander

Colonel Beena N. Maharaj, 911th Mission Support Group commander presided over the ceremony and welcomed Downen as the new 911th CES commander. Maharaj recognized Downen for her excellent reputation in the civil engineer community, known for her flawless duty performance and ability to get things done. Maj Downen comes to the 911th Airlift Wing with 12 years of active duty experience, having won several Major Command level awards, and reserve expertise from two bases.
