Vincent J. Gastgeb

Vincent J. Gastgeb is the Vice President of Government and Community Affairs for the Allegheny County Airport Authority.
Prior to joining the Airport Authority, he was elected four consecutive times as a former Allegheny County Councilman, first as an inaugural member and then serving as the minority caucus chair for eight years. During his terms he also served as chair of the Allegheny County Council Parks Committee, Public Safety Committee, and was the Chairman of the city of Pittsburgh-Allegheny County Joint Commission on Public Safety.
He also served as a member of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission regarding transportation planning. He currently serves on many business, community and governmental organizations, including Pittsburgh Business Travel Association, Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, Military Relations Committee, and the Pennsylvania Banking and Securities Board.
Mr. Gastgeb has a business background as a sales executive with over $40 million in managed sales for a major consumer products company with over 30 years of experience.
He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and attended a Continuing Education Certificate Program at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business. He serves as a member of the University's Fiscal Policy and Governance Committee.
He and his wife live in Bethel Park and have four children and three grandchildren.
