Chris is the Manager for Findlay Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Findlay Township is the second largest Municipality in Allegheny County and is home to Pittsburgh International Airport.
Chris was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on January 10th, 1964. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University at University Park with a Bachelors degree in Urban Planning in 1987. Upon graduation, Chris moved to southern New Jersey to work for Remington & Vernick Engineers as a Planner for Municipal clients. Chris represented up to eight Municipal clients whom he would provide reviews on land development applications for compliance to local land development ordinances and regulations.
In 1991, Chris accepted the position of Planning Administrator for Findlay Township and moved to the Pittsburgh region. In this newly created position, Chris oversaw all land development applications, Zoning, Code compliance and Comprehensive Planning. He was instrumental in implementing an Impact Fee Ordinance that collects fees on new developments for traffic impacts, Comprehensive Open Space & Recreation Plan and Public Improvements Code. In 1999, he was given the responsibilities of Assistant Manager, and Emergency Management Coordinator. As Assistant Manger he became more involved in everyday operations and personal matters for the Township.
Chris was promoted to his current position of Township Manager in February, 2015. He leads a team of 23 Township Employees from administration, building and plumbing inspections, parks and recreation, and public works departments. He also oversees the Township’s 2016 budget of $10, 579,000 and a Capital Budget of $1,280,000.
Chris resides in Findlay Township and enjoys the outdoors. Some of his hobbies include golfing, hunting, hiking and riding his motorcycle.
