  • JBSA Airmen participate in total force exercise

    The 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron trained on responding to a chemical agent exposure situation, here April 8. The training included unregulated patient movement and familiarization with decontamination procedures. The 433rd AES collaborated with the 433rd Civil Engineer Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio Fire Department, and the 911th AES, Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania, to accomplish the training.
  • 911th AW, 171st ARW conduct joint decontamination training

    The 911th Airlift Wing and the 171st Air Refueling Wing conducted a joint decontamination exercise at the 171st ARW in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Sept. 8, 2019. Airmen practiced Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear training techniques and procedures as part of a joint decontamination training event.
  • Dissimilar aircraft, same mission

    Airmen with the 911th Airlift Wing recently hosted aeromedical training with Airmen from the 914th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron during joint training at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, April 25, 2019. This training was arranged alongside refueling missions and training conducted between the two reserve wings as part of the 911th AW’s ongoing C-17 conversion. The 914th ARW, which works primarily with KC-135 Stratotanker, took advantage of the rare opportunity to conduct training inside the much larger 911th AW C-17s.
