Back-to-back communication
Staff Sgt. Danielle Miller, squadron medical element technician with the 758th Airlift Squadron, describes to her partner, Tech. Sgt. John Davis, fire team leader with the 911th Security Forces Squadron, how to draw what is on the card in front of her despite communication barriers in place, during the Air Force Reserve Command NCO Leadership Development Course held at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa., May 11, 2016. NCO’s were partnered up and placed back-to-back inhibiting them from using non-verbal communication to accomplish the task at hand, displaying the importance of effective communication and teamwork. The course provides mid-level enlisted personnel with hands-on experience in leadership and management practices through guided discussions, role-playing exercises, and learning activities.
