Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Flynn

Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Flynn is assigned to the 911th AW, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the senior recruiter for the National Capital Region. He spent the first 10 years of his career on active duty as an aircraft electrical & environmental systems specialist on the AC-130U Gunship. His entire active duty career was with AFSOC at Hurlburt Field, Florida. After separating from active duty in 2007, he became a kitchen & bath designer while working as a traditional reservist at the 459 ARW, Andrews AFB, Maryland. He also worked briefly as an IMA for the STRATCOM Center for Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (SCC-WMD) at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This exposure to the opportunities and flexibility the Air Force Reserve offers made such a positive impression on him that he joined AFRC Recruiting Service in 2009. He has since held recruiting positions in Richmond, Virginia; MacDill AFB, Florida; and NAS Fort Worth JRB, Texas, helping recruit the nation’s best current and future Airmen.


Master Sgt. Christopher Beck

Master Sgt. Christopher Beck is an enlisted recruiter with the 911th Airlift Wing, Pennsylvania.  He spent the first four years of his career as a tactical aircraft maintainer in Goldsboro, North Carolina. From there he was selected to be an Air Force recruiter in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for four years. During the next five years he molded civilians into Airmen as a military training instructor in San Antonio, Texas. For two years after that assignment he was a Military Entrance Processing Station liaison in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 


Master Sgt. Joseph Poltor

Master Sergeant Joseph Poltor is the Officer Accessions Recruiter for Ohio and Pennsylvania.  He deals mainly with applicants seeking a commission from outside of the Air Force Reserve.  He joined the Air Force in 2002 where he was a C-17 Loadmaster with the 15th Airlift Squadron and Joint Airdrop Inspector at Joint Base Charleston until 2008.  In 2008, he left active duty to join the Reserve where he continued his flying career until 2014 with the 317th Airlift Squadron.  MSgt Poltor became a recruiter in 2014 with his initial assignment being at the 911th Airlift Wing.  He then moved to the 910th Airlift Wing in Youngstown, Ohio before being assigned as the Officer Accessions Recruiter for Ohio and Pennsylvania.


Master Sgt. Toby Neal

Master Sgt. Toby Neal is the Health Professions Recruiter for the 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, the 910th Air Reserve Station, Youngstown, Ohio, as well as the 914th Air Refueling Wing, Niagara Falls, New York.  He started his Air Force career at McChord AFB, Washington, as a crew chief on the C-17.  From there he went to Ramstien AFB Germany as a flying crew chief on the C-130.  He has served at Hill AFB, Utah, as well as Goodfellow AFB Texas before becoming a recruiter for the Air Force Reserve at Pittsburgh.  He calls Pittsburgh his home and is happy to be called a Steel Airman as a part of the 911th Airlift Wing. 


Master Sgt. Jeremiah Murphy

Master Sgt. Jeremiah Murphy is the Air Reserve Technician recruiter with the 911th Airlift Wing, Pennsylvania. He originally came into the Air Force as a Security Forces member. He was stationed at Kunsan AB, South Korea and Cannon AFB, New Mexico. While in New Mexico he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. From there, Murphy became an Active Duty Air Force recruiter in Santa Rosa, California. After eight years in Active Duty Air Force he made the switch to the Air Force Reserve and moved to Kissimmee, Florida to recruit for the 920 RQW out of Patrick AFB. He is now the ART/ Enlisted recruiter on base.


Tech. Sgt. Travis Barnett

Tech. Sgt. Travis Barnett is an enlisted recruiter with the 911th Airlift Wing, Pennsylvania. He spent eight years of his career as a fire fighter at McConnell AFB, Kansas, Kunsan AFB, South Korea and Tyndall AFB, Florida. From there he was selected to be an Active Duty Recruiter in LaGrange, Kentucky for 4 years. After that he transitioned to the Air Force Reserve Recruiting in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
