Honorary Commander’s event held at 911th

Honorary Commanders are briefed by members of the 911th Airlift Wing after a cargo drop is performed by two C-130’s demonstrating the skill and effectiveness of the wing’s air crew’s at Burgettstown, Pa., Sept. 17, 2014. The Honorary Commander’s event is a gathering of local business leaders who take an active role in utilizing the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve to hire veterans and also use the ESGR to help resolve any conflicts that may arise from an employee’s military commitment. The event was held to showcase the skills and professionalism of Guardsmen and Reservists for local business leaders and also give a glimpse of what goes into a service member’s military commitment.
