Cherpak retires after 40-years federal service

After more than four decades of federal service, Richard J. Cherpak, 911th Airlift Wing comptroller, retires effective, December 31, 2014. Here, Cherpak admires a memento presented during his retirement party held at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa., December 18, 2014. The memento, the official Myron Cope “Terrible Towel” as it is affectionately known by Pittsburgh Steelers fans alike, is autographed by Robert Patrick "Rocky" Bleier.
