Maintaining Readiness

PITTSBURGH IAP ARS-- Staff Sgt. Joel Sterniak, 911th Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsions technician, installs a propeller onto a C-130 engine test cell, July 14, 2013 at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station. Prior to being marked serviceable, engines and propellers are tested after all repairs to ensure they meet operational standards. The mission of the 911th Airlift Wing is to ensure the highest level of operational readiness thereby allowing rapid mobilization in support of global National Security objectives.
