JROTC cadets receive orientation flight
The Pine-Richland High School Air Force Junior ROTC Program took flight with the 911th Airlift Wing located in Moon Township, Jan. 31, 2011. About two dozen cadets had the chance to take an incentive flight on a C-130 cargo aircraft at the 911th AW in Moon Township. The flight lasted approximately 45 minutes and allowed cadets to see and experience what the life of a pilot and aircrew members is like in the Air Force Reserve. This is the first school year that PRHS has offered the program for students in grades 9-12. This program aims to educate and train students in aerospace science.(U.S. Air Force Photo/Master Sgt.
