911 Change of Command
Col. Craig C. Peters, 911th Airlift Wing commander, receives the ceremonial guidon from Maj. Gen. Wallace W. “Wade” Farris, 22nd Air Force commander, and assumes command of the 911th Airlift Wing in front of the men and women of the 911th, family, friends, elected officials and community partners at hangar 416, May 6, 2012. Col. Peters served as C-17 and C-5 evaluator and instructor pilot, but also flew the T-41, T-37, T-38, C-130, B727 and MD-88.
