Teaching the community

PITTSBURGH IAP ARS -- During the Honorary Commander’s Association event hosted by the 911th Airlift Wing, May 23, 2012, Tech. Sgt. Jessica Davis, emergency management specialist with the Civil Engineering Squadron, explains proper emergency management skills in the Airmen’s Manual to Richard Belotti, of the Allegheny County Airport Authority. The purpose of the Honorary Commander’s Association is to educate the local business community in the Army and Air Force Reserve’s role in the total force structure for national defense; to encourage employers to support employees who are members of the Reserve; and to foster a better understanding and community support of the local military units. The HCA event ended with an aerial drop performed by two C-130 H2’s at the drop zone in Burgettstown, Pa. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Justyne Obeldobel/Released)
