Boot Camp held at local middle school
Master Sgt. Paul E. McInnis, 911th Airlift Wing fitness program manager, visits Moon Middle School 5th graders, Dec. 14, 2012, for some Boot Camp fitness training. Here, McInnis receives input from a group of students on the types of fitness activities they enjoy, and talks about the Air Force Core Values and how they translate into civilian life. More than 135 5th-grade students signed up to participate in the program which will run until the end of the school year. The goal of the program is to build team work and teach simple principles of the military, including physical training and conduct. The program will be offered to the other middle school grades beginning next school year.
