Governor’s holiday break includes 911th Airlift Wing visit

Rep. Tim Murphy (R-18) and Pennsylvania State Governor Tom Corbett receive a Wing mission brief from Col. Craig C. Peters, 911th Airlift Wing commander, Dec. 28, 2012. During the visit the governor also received a tour of the C-130 cargo aircraft assigned to the wing as well as a hangar tour. At the conclusion of the mission brief, the governor held a press event which included numerous federal and state elected officials. Gov. Corbett began the press conference acknowledging the recent loss of military advocate and Pittsburgh Airport Chamber of Commerce president, Ms. Sally Haas and asked everyone to pause for a brief moment of silence in remembrance of her and her contributions.
