PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR RESERVE STATION, Pa. -- Six members of the 911th Airlift Wing participated in the U.S. Air Force Marathon at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Wrght-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, September 17, 2016. Five members completed the half marathon and one completed the full marathon. Their final times are as follows:
Half marathon:
- Master Sgt. Randy Don, aircraft maintainer with the 911th Maintenance Squadron, 1:51:43
- Senior Master Sgt. Marshall Martindale, standards and evaluations flight engineer with the 911th Operations Group, 2:10:22
- Lt. Col. Stanley George, standards and evaluations navigator with the 911th OG, 2:14:54
- Master Sgt. Heather Dreiling, craftsman with the Nondestructive Inspections Flight, 2:43:36
- Master Sgt. Kevin Simmons, noncommissioned officer in charge of the Nondestructive Inspections Flight, 2:46:55
