Air Force and Navy members work together to transfer simulated victims from a C-130 Hercules aircraft to a Veterans Affairs medical center bus, during a National Disaster Medical System Exercise at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, July 12, 2014. Victims of a simulated terrorist attack at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania were flown to the Pittsburgh IAP ARS where they were offloaded, triaged, and staged for simulated transport to NDMS hospitals in the Pittsburgh area. The NDMS is a cooperative effort of the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs and a variety of federal, state and local organizations.
