To kick off the 911th Airlift Wing's annual Diamond Day, Airmen participated in a 3k fun run on September 7, 2019, at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station.

Diamond Day is an event created by the base's first sergeants to thank the Steel Airmen of the 911th AW for their hard work over the past year.

"I'd like to thank all the participants that came out this morning for our 3k," said Senior Master Sgt. Jim Rucosky, first sergeant with the 911th Logistics Readiness Squadron. "We hope to build on it and make this a bigger event next year."

Winners of the run were Tech. Sgt. Tim McDaniel, operations support flight chief with the 911th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, and Maj. Amanda Demaye, sustainment services flight chief with the 911th AW.
