Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa. -- During the June Unit Training Assembly, the 911th Security Forces Squadron held a Noncommissioned Officer Promotion and Induction Ceremony.
The ceremony was held for three members who were promoted to the rank of staff sergeant and one member promoted to technical sergeant. As part of the ceremony, there was a reading of the NCO Creed and the administration of the NCO Charge in preparation of the inductees joining the NCO tier.
Dr. Rory A. Cooper, a disabled veteran who is the director of the Paralyzed Veterans of America Research Foundation was a guest speaker for the event and spoke to inspire, encourage and challenge not only the promotees, but all in attendance to continue a path of progress and a vision for the truth.
