Numerous Airmen from the 911th Airlift Wing in Coraopolis helped place approximately 8,000 flags on the graves of veterans at the Allegheny National Cemetery here in Pittsburgh May 24-27, 2010. The week-long event began each night at 6 p.m. and was held rain or shine. The Allegheny Cemetery located in Lawrenceville, PA has a small group of veterans and civilians volunteer their time to place flags on these graves every year.
