Newly appointed senator receives mission brief

Chief Master Sgt. Brian L. Zator, 911th Airlift Wing financial services; Col. Craig C. Peters, commander of the 911th AW; and Pennsylvania State Senator Matt Smith receive brief by Chief Master Sgt. Terrance J. Keblish, 911th Maintenance Squadron superintendent, on the 911th's benchmark aircraft maintenance isochronal inspection process. January 15, 2013. Smith, the newly elected member of the Pennsylvania Senate serving the 37th Senatorial District, visited the base to become more familiar with and informed on the global mission and strategic importance of the 911th AW to national defense. Smith was also provided a base tour, which included a look at the progress of construction on the Navy Operations Support Center and a guided tour of the newly built hospitality lodge, which recently received a gold certification for building under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification System.
