Readiness capabilities tested

Tech. Sgt. James Stamos, 911th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, performs an initial assessment on a microburst victim during a Major Accident Response Exercise (MARE) held at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Apr. 16, 2013. The natural disaster exercise training included Navy Operational Support Center - Pittsburgh Naval Security Forces personnel, Allegheny County fire fighters, and EMS personnel. MARE training can also simulate a variety of other events; such as an aircraft crash, an explosion or terrorist attack.
