Members of the 758th Airlift Squadron prepare for a training flight to Youngstown, Ohio, June 25, 2013 at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station. Each pilot performs one take-off and landing every month maintaining qualifications and ensuring mission readiness. Training flights often include touch-and-go landings, where pilots touch the landing gear down on the runway and take-off again. Touch-and-go landings allow pilots to perform multiple landings during training flights as it saves time from regular landings.
