Wings Over Pittsburgh Bag Rules and Prohibited Items

A list of prohibited items has been announced for the Wings Over Pittsburgh Open House/ Air Show at the 911th Airlift Wing, Coraopolis, Pa., May 13 & 14, 2017.

 

Bags under 12” by 12” will be permitted on base. Any bags over this size will only be permitted if they are made out of a clear material. All bags are subject to search. Guests will pass through metal detectors prior to base entry.

 

To ensure the safety of base personnel and those attending the open house, the following items have been prohibited from the show with no exceptions: backpacks, duffle bags, coolers, scooters, pets, balloons, brass knuckles, box cutters, darts, fireworks, alcoholic beverages, drones, uniforms worn by non-military persons, large purses, camelbacks, bicycles, skates, nunchucks, knives, razor blades, firearms, mace/ pepper spray, paint, illegal drugs, pop-up canopies and water guns.

 

Strollers, wheelchairs and folding lawn chairs will be permitted on base for the event.
