PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR RESERVE STATION, Pa. -- Lt. Col. Stan George, navigator with the 911th Operations Group, celebrated the end of his 36-year Air Force career with a Fini Flight November 29, 2016, at the 911th Airlift Wing. The flight was part of a training exercise which ended with a flyover of the city of Pittsburgh before George landed on base for the final time in uniform.
After landing, George was met by coworkers and his wife Annette who showered him with water, champagne and congratulations on his retirement.
