Misson Possible

During the months of October and November, the 911th Airlift Wing airlifted a Carnegie Mellon University lunar robot for testing on the volcanic surface of Hilo, Hawaii. The consolidated lunar research project between Carnegie Mellon University of Pittsburgh and NASA is currently being tested for a 2025 lunar landing mission.
