SPECIAL DELIVERY

PITTSBURGH AIR RESERVE STATION, PA -- Col. Gordon Elwell, 911th Airlift Wing Commander, greets Col. Mike McCormack, 137th Airlift Wing Commander at Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station Sep. 6, 2007. The 911th recieved C-130H's from the Oklahoma National Air National Guard. Col. McCormack flew and delivered aircraft 809, traveling from Will Rogers ANG Base to Pittsburgh ARS. The plane had been in the 137th's inventory since it rolled off of the assembly line in 1979, and was Col. McCormack's aircraft since 2001. This was Col. McCormack's final landing as a C-130 pilot.
