Army veteran recounts time in service

PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR RESERVE STATION, Pa. --

"There's three reasons I joined the Army. One, I'm patriotic. Two, I'm loyal. And three, because they asked me," said Guy Prestia, 94, veteran of Army, at a Veterans Breakfast Club event at the 911th International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa., Sept. 9, 2016.

Prestia, from Ellwood City, Pa., was drafted into the Army in 1942. With his company he helped liberate 31,000 people from the Dachau concentration camp during World War II.
