2017 Volunteer Opportunity for Private/Non Profits

The 911the Airlift Wing is looking for Private or Non-profit partners to provide concession workers for the Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station Open House “Wings Over Pittsburgh” Air Show on Saturday and Sunday, 13 and 14 May 2017. In consideration of this organization providing labor, the 911th Services Division will pay $120.00 per person for the two day event to the non-profit.
The Private/Non-profit will agree to ensure a concession booth is fully staffed during the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm for both event days, 13 May 2017 and 14 May 2017. A minimum age of all volunteers is 16 years old. However, cooks and cashiers must be at least 18 years of age. The range of work duties include: Sale of food, beverage and novelties; accounting and safeguarding of funds; preparation of food and beverage items; stacking and display of merchandise; and cleaning of concession area. All organizations are subject to applicable federal and state rules and regulations. Workers and Volunteers may be subject to a background check.
Please note: The proceeds from the concessions benefit the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund which support the Airmen at the 911th Airlift Wing.
