The 911th Airlift Wing softball team clinched the 2009 Army Corps of Engineers Softball League championship, August 17, 2009 by crushing McCormick with a final score of 11-3 on their home field here. The team dominated throughout the season with a regular season record of 18-2, and a record of 6-1 in three playoff series, totaling 24-3. The trophy will be on display in various team members’ offices over the next several months.
