Staff Sgt. Christopher Card, 911th Communications Squadron, receives the Air Force Achievement Medal during Commander's Call held here Oct. 4, 2009. Sergeant Card was awarded the medal for his quick and instinctive response when he witnessed a car accident on June 24, 2009. Sergeant Card took control of the situation, rendered help to the injured and redirected traffic flow until authorities arrived.
