Winter de-icing
A C-130 Hercules, assigned to the 911th Airlift Wing, is de-iced before being flown on a training mission, Feb. 12, 2012. Aircraft de-icing is a process in which liquid solutions are sprayed onto an aircraft which enables a defrosting process, but also prevents future precipitation from freezing to the airplane.
