Land of the free
The American flag proudly flies in front of the 911th Airlift Wing’s C-130’s, June 14, 2012. The flag has been flown since the 4th of July in the year 1776. On that day, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, setting the 13 colonies on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation. As always, this great American holiday will be marked by patriotic parades, amazing fireworks and backyard barbecues across the country.
