Colonel KATHLEEN M. LABAHN

Colonel Kathleen M. LaBahn is the Commander, 911th Mission Support Group, 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania. She is responsible for supporting the mission of the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in the Air Force Reserve Command through a variety of functions including infrastructure, services, logistics, personnel, communications, contracting, engineering, and security. Also included in her responsibilities is the oversight of the maintenance, distribution and material management services portion of the Base Operations and Supporting Services contract. In these roles, the 911th MSG also provides support to 1,618 wing personnel and provides combat support services for all military branches in times of peace, war, and national emergency with the United States and abroad.                                                       

LaBahn received her commission in 2001 through the ROTC program at California State University, San Bernardino, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  Her experience encompasses installation tours of duty in the Pacific, Europe, Asia, and U.S., including combat experience in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Lt Col LaBahn has served in a variety of logistic and acquisition positions during her active duty and reserve careers, to include Flight Commander, Installation Deployment Officer, Program Manager, Squadron Commander, Deputy Group Commander, and Group Commander.  She is married to LTC (R) Timothy D. LaBahn and has three children: Abiageal (12), Alexander (10), and Amelia (1).
