A 911th Airlift Wing Base Honor Guard Airman carries the remains of a fallen soldier during a military burial held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township, Pa, Aug. 23, 2012. The remains of 15 veterans came home at last at the Western Pennsylvania national cemetery after the hard work of area veterans, funeral directors and the Missing In America Project. The MIAP’s primary mission is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of American veterans through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations.
