Tech. Sgt. Eleanor Weaver, a 911th Airlift Wing Mission Support Group knowledge operations manager, practices to insert a nasopharyngeal airway into a first-aid dummy head during a Self-Aid and Buddy Care class held at the recreation center, building 213, Aug. 9, 2012. During this class, Weaver and 30 fellow Airmen learned the proper use of SABC items such as, the Nasopharyngeal Airway, the Combat Application Tourniquet, and Combat Gauze. Airmen were also trained on the proper techniques of controlling blood loss and how to correctly transport a victim in different combat environments.
