1/14/2011 - PITTSBURGH IAP ARS -- The 2011 Wings Over Pittsburgh air show is scheduled for September 10 & 11, 2011. The patriotic event is being held over the weekend marking the ten-year anniversary of 9/11. This past year's air show was tremendously successful with record-setting crowds. Join us this year for an exciting new line up of performers. For most of the performers, it is there first time at the Wings Over Pittsburgh air show.

This year's new performers include:
· Heavy Metal Jet Team
· Red Bull Air Force's skydiving team
· Red Bull Helicopter flown by Chuck Aaron
· Red Bull- Team Chambliss
· Raiders Demonstration Team
· Smoke-N-Thunder Jet Shows

Returning from this past year is Nalls Aviation's Sea Harrier and the Geico sponsored, Tim Weber Airshows' plane. Also back from previous years, is the Army's Sky Soldiers demonstration team.

Those interested in getting the most current and up-to-date information on this year's event are encouraged to join the Wings Over Pittsburgh facebook page @ Wings-Over-Pittsburgh-Air-Show.

David We do not at this time know if the Port Authority is going to have a bus service to the Air Show. This is all pending due to the funding for the Port Authority in June. Michael We do not have the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels this year but we do have the Heavy Metal Jet Team based out of Lancaster PA. httpwww.heavymetaljetteam.com
