A joint partnership between the 911th Airlift Wing and 910th AW in Youngstown, Ohio, will host a newly formed enlisted workshop for all enlisted ranks Nov. 2-3 at the Boardman, Ohio, Holiday Inn.

The theme of this year's workshop is "Wingman, Leader, and Warrior: Navigation for Life!"

Topics for the event are: retirement planning, understanding your pay, tips on writing enlisted performance appraisals, awards and decorations packages, education benefits, automated personnel services, nutrition and fitness, to include a discussion on the Fit to Fight program. A guest speaker will also be on hand to help reenergize and motivate attendees on their military careers plus lots of other activities.
All members attending the event must be on orders and in a duty status and must make their own hotel arrangements. Due to the nature of the training, Air Force regulations prohibit attending in drill status or using a Readiness Management Period (RMP). Sign-ups must be coordinated through unit commanders and First Sergeant for authorized attendance. Space is limited at the site, therefore, those interested in attending must sign up as soon as possible.

The last day to sign up is Oct. 5. If you have questions or would like to volunteer to help please contact Master Sgt. Debra Foster at (330) 609-1891 or Senior Master Sgt. David Simms at (330) 609-1987.
